The agent of Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke has revealed that his client is flattered by speculation linking him with Barcelona, but insists that a move isn't on the cards.
The Catalans reportedly identified the 23-year-old as a long-term replacement for Xavi Hernandez, who left the club this summer after 17 years of service.
Koke has previously claimed that the Blaugrana tried to sign him last summer, before inking a contract extension 12 months ago to quell speculation.
Rumours have since resurfaced, but his representative Inaki Espizua has stressed that there is little substance to the talk.
"We are not surprised by Barca's interest, but flattered," he told Cadena Cope. "It's great to hear these things, especially from a club like Barca, but right now the player's position is very clear.
"He feels he is a key part of Atletico Madrid's plans for the future, so I have very little to add."
Koke, who has also been linked with Chelsea this summer, is contracted to the 2014 Spanish champions until 2019.
