Atletico Madrid are reportedly considering a move for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
The 25-year-old, who has previously been linked with a move to Arsenal, has scored three times and registered five assists in 26 appearances in all competitions for Inter this season.
According to Diario AS, Atletico boss Diego Simeone views Brozovic as the long-term replacement for Gabi, and will ask his club to press ahead with a move in this summer's transfer window.
Brozovic joined Inter from Dinamo Zagreb in 2015, and has made more than 100 appearances in all competitions for the Italian giants.
Atletico will travel to bitter rivals Real Madrid in La Liga on Sunday afternoon looking to consolidate second position in the table.
