Atletico Madrid have reportedly identified Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul as a target ahead of the summer transfer window.
Diego Simeone's side are preparing for life without Thibaut Courtois, who is expected to return to parent club Chelsea when his loan spell finishes at the end of the current season.
The leaders of La Liga are now searching for possible replacements, and Krul was watched by Atletico's sporting director Jose Luis Caminero during Monday's 3-0 defeat to Arsenal, according to talkSPORT.
Atletico are believed to be willing to offer up to £10m to secure the services of the Dutchman ahead of next season.
Reports last week suggested that Krul was considering his future at Newcastle.
