Atletico Madrid will reportedly move for Espanyol goalkeeper Kiko Casilla if Thibaut Courtois returns to parent club Chelsea at the end of the season.
Courtois, who has developed into one of the best shot-stoppers in world football during his two-and-half seasons on loan at Atletico, is widely expected to return to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
According to AS, Atletico boss Diego Simeone has identified Casilla as the perfect replacement for the Belgian international.
Casilla, who came through the youth system at Real Madrid, is reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract at Espanyol, but his head could be turned by possible interest from the Spanish capital.
