Carlos Tevez and Fernando Torres have both reportedly emerged as possible transfer targets for DC United.
The MLS campaign has already gotten underway but DC are moving to a new stadium in July, and with that allegedly comes the desire to add a major name to the club's first-team squad.
According to Goal.com, that has resulted in the Washington-based club taking a look at the two high-profile stars who have reached the latter stages of their career.
Tevez has only recently returned to hometown club Boca Juniors, but the former Manchester United and Manchester City frontman may jump at the chance to experience football in the United States.
As for Torres, it has already been announced that the Spaniard will leave Atletico Madrid in the summer, leaving the 34-year-old with the freedom to choose from a number of clubs in different leagues.
