Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has ruled out the possibility of a summer departure amid links with a move to the Premier League.
Griezmann was of the standout players in La Liga last term, scoring 15 goals and providing 17 assists in 38 competitive appearances.
The Frenchman is viewed as an integral member of Diego Simeone's side, but his Atletico future has recently been called into question.
A recent report claimed that Griezmann has a surprisingly low release clause in his contract believed to be €25m (£21.4m), which has alerted a number of Premier League clubs.
Teams from the Saudi Pro League have also shown an interest, while the MLS has been mooted as a potential destination after Griezmann previously expressed a desire to finish his career in the USA.
With Griezmann earning £345,000 a week, there was a suggestion that Atletico could be tempted to sell the France international.
La Liga's strict salary limit is an issue for Atletico, and offloading Griezmann would allow them to improve their economic situation.
However, the 32-year-old has stated that he has no intention of leaving the Spanish club during the summer transfer window.
"I am very happy at Atletico," Griezmann told Telefoot. "My main objective is to win La Liga with them because I've never won it, and I've been here 12 years.
"Why not do big things in the Champions League as well? I feel good here, and so do my family. There won't be a change."
After leaving the club in 2019 to join Barcelona, the attacker returned to Atletico in the summer of 2021 on an initial one-year loan deal with an option to extend by an additional season.
During the opening months of the 2022-23 campaign, Griezmann saw his playing time restricted, as Atletico tried to avoid triggering a £35m purchase option.
The two clubs eventually resolved their dispute, settling on a £17m fee, which allowed Griezmann to play regularly.
During his two spells as an Atletico player, he has scored 157 goals and provided 76 assists in 341 appearances across all competitions. body check tags ::
