Four clubs in the Premier League have reportedly identified Atletico Madrid winger Nicolas Gaitan as a possible transfer target.
Gaitan remains highly-regarded in European football but the attacker has made just two starts and eight substitute appearances in La Liga and the Champions League this season.
According to AS, the signings of Vitolo and Diego Costa have led to boss Diego Simeone needing to clear space in his squad, and the Spanish giants are prepared to listen to offers for the 29-year-old.
That has allegedly led to interest from England, with Everton, West Ham United, Southampton and Crystal Palace all said to be tracking the Argentine ahead of the start of 2018.
All four sides have funds to spend during January, and Gaitan is likely to entertain a switch to England to boost his chances of making his national team's squad for this summer's World Cup.
