Qatari side Al-Rayyan are reportedly in talks with Atletico Madrid over a potential deal for striker Diego Costa.
The 30-year-old's partnership with Joao Felix has been integral to Diego Simeone's system so far this season, but it is believed that the club would be willing to sell if the offer was right.
Costa has had numerous disciplinary issues while at the club, while he has only scored six goals since returning to Madrid from Chelsea.
According to AS Diario, Al-Rayyan see him as a viable alternative for Mario Mandzukic, who turned down a move to Qatar in the summer after a fee had been agreed between the club and Juventus.
Al-Rayyan are currently managed by the Uruguayan Diego Aguirre and boast former Porto playermaker Yacine Brahimi among their ranks.
