Schalke 04 goalkeeper Ralf Fahrmann emerges as a reported transfer target for Atletico Madrid.

Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is reportedly interested in signing Schalke 04 goalkeeper Ralf Fahrmann at the end of the season.

Thibaut Courtois is the current first-choice shot-stopper at Atletico, but the Belgian international looks set to return to his parent club Chelsea at the end of the season.

According to Bild, the 25-year-old's performances have not gone unnoticed this season, with Atletico just one of a number of clubs who are monitoring developments at the German club.

Fahrmann's current deal expires at the end of next season.
