Sevilla are reportedly interested in signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez this summer.
The 29-year-old has been with Atletico since 2012, making 427 appearances for the club in all competitions, including 49 outings during the 2023-24 campaign.
Saul has another two years left to run on his contract at Wanda Metropolitano, but there is currently speculation surrounding his future with Diego Simeone's side.
According to Cadena SER, Sevilla have identified the Spaniard as a top midfield target this summer.
The report claims that Saul's current wage demands will be a problem for the club, but there is a chance that Atletico could let him leave on a free transfer this summer, with a contract termination a possibility.
Saul was allowed to spend the 2021-22 campaign on loan at Chelsea, but he struggled to make his mark for the Premier League outfit, only managing 10 appearances in England's top flight.
