West Ham United have reportedly made contact with Burnley to discuss a possible deal for Dwight McNeil during this summer's transfer window.
The 22-year-old is widely expected to leave the Clarets in the current market following their relegation to the Championship, and a number of clubs have been linked with his services.
According to Sky Sports News, West Ham have been in touch with Burnley to discuss the attacker, while Crystal Palace have also made contact with Vincent Kompany's side.
McNeil found it difficult to show his best form for the Clarets last season, only registering one assist in 40 appearances in all competitions.
The Englishman still has two years left to run on his contract at Turf Moor, with the option of a further 12 months.
Elsewhere, Newcastle United have reportedly made an offer of £18m for Leeds United attacker Jack Harrison.
The 25-year-old joined the Whites on a permanent basis from Manchester City last July and was in strong form during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 10 goals and registering two assists in 38 appearances.
Newcastle have recently been strongly linked with Harrison, and according to Football Insider, the Magpies have now placed an £18m offer on the table.
The report claims that Leeds are open to selling the Englishman for the right price this summer despite already allowing both Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips to leave the club.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest are allegedly considering a move for Watford forward Emmanuel Dennis.
The Reds have been busy during this summer's transfer window, as they prepare for life in the Premier League.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the promoted outfit have not finished their summer business, and Dennis has been identified by the club as a transfer target.
The report claims that Forest want to make another addition in the final third of the field and view the 24-year-old as the ideal acquisition following his impressive 2021-22 season at Watford.
Dennis scored 10 goals and registered six assists in 33 Premier League appearances last term, and he still has four years left to run on his contract at Vicarage Road.
Meanwhile, Jan Oblak is allegedly set to end the speculation surrounding his future by signing a new contract at Atletico Madrid.
The goalkeeper is believed to be admired by many of the leading clubs in world football, and there were suggestions earlier this year that he could be on the move this summer.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Oblak is preparing to sign a new deal until June 2025, which will include a rise in salary.
Romano claims that it is 'just a matter of time' before Atletico confirm the agreement.
The 29-year-old has made over 350 appearances for the Red and Whites since his arrival from Benfica, winning La Liga, the Europa League and UEFA Super Cup during his time in the Spanish capital. body check tags ::
