West Ham United have reportedly indicated that they remain keen on signing Celta Vigo defender Jonny Castro.
In recent weeks, manager David Moyes has been linked with a wide array of players but so far, the Scot has failed to make his first signing since arriving at the Hammers.
However, according to Claret & Hugh, Moyes is interested in pushing through a deal for Jonny before the end of the January transfer window.
The full-back has been a regular in the Spanish outfit's starting lineup this season, with 17 appearances being made for a team which sit in 14th place in the La Liga table.
However, as well as being required to pay a transfer fee in the region of £14m, West Ham could also face competition from both Atletico Madrid and Roma.
