Borja Granero netted a late equaliser against Barcelona B to earn Racing de Santander a share of the spoils in this evening's crucial game at the foot of the Segunda Division.
Racing hit the post twice in the first half, with Inaki Saenz Arenzana and Alvaro Garcia hitting the woodwork within seven minutes of each other.
Both sides had chances at the start of the second half and it was the home side who took the lead midway through the second period through Sandro Ramirez.
It looked like that would be enough for victory until the 87th minute when Granero tucked home the rebound after his penalty had been saved.
A draw means that Barca and Racing stay a point apart in 21st and 19th places respectively.
