The buildup to the summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Barcelona eye possible reinforcements.
The Spanish champions spent big on Antoine Griezmann during the summer but missed out on a big-name striker in January, leading to speculation that they could splash the cash again when the window reopens.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news from the Camp Nou.
Saturday morning's Barcelona transfer talk news roundup:
Arsenal lodge £13.6m bid for Sporting Lisbon winger Joelson Fernandes?
Arsenal have reportedly lodged a £13.6m bid for Sporting Lisbon winger Joelson Fernandes.
The 17-year-old has broken into the first team at Sporting this season, becoming the youngest player in the club's history on his debut.
A number of top European clubs, including Barcelona and Juventus, are understood to be tracking the attacker, but Portuguese news channel TVI 24 claims that Arsenal have made the first move.
Fernandes's current contract is understood to include a £41m release clause, and Sporting are looking to tie him down to fresh terms which would see that fee rise even more.
However, the youngster is reportedly refusing to agree to a new deal and Arsenal are hopeful that he may be available for a cut-price fee as a result.
Fernandes's agent Kia Joorabchian, who has worked closely with Arsenal technical director Edu in the past, will reportedly travel to Lisbon next week to step up contract talks.
Inter Milan refusing to give up on Barcelona forward Lionel Messi?
Inter Milan are reportedly considering whether to up their long-standing interest in Barcelona forward Lionel Messi.
Given Messi's affinity to the Catalan giants, no clubs have ever realistically had a chance of tempting the Argentine away from Camp Nou.
However, in the moments after Barcelona surrendered the La Liga crown to Real Madrid earlier this month, the club legend was not shy in voicing his frustrations with regards to the development of the current squad.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have only been left encouraged by the 33-year-old's recent comments.
With Messi having less than a year remaining on his contract, speculation persists that the he may take the opportunity to leave Barcelona in the coming months.
While a transfer remains unlikely, the clubs have recently been in frequent dialogue regarding a potential deal involving Lautaro Martinez.
