Arda Turan has said that he was pleased to make his Barcelona debut on Wednesday, but has also insisted that he "can do much better".
The Turkish international joined Barcelona from Atletico Madrid last summer, but was only cleared to play at the start of this month following the expiration of the Spanish side's transfer embargo.
Turan made his debut in Wednesday's Copa del Rey last-16 first leg against Espanyol, which his team won 4-1 on home soil.
"For me, it was very important to win my first game with Barcelona. I was a bit overwhelmed but otherwise, I felt very comfortable," Turan told NTVSpor. "Playing a real game is nothing like a practice match in training. I wanted to show what I can do out on the pitch, I'm adapting but I think I can do much better."
Turan could make his La Liga debut for Barcelona in Saturday afternoon's home match against Granada.
