:Headline: Barcelona injury, suspension news vs. Valencia: Will Dani Olmo be fit for La Liga showdown?:
Sports Mole looks at Barcelona's injury and suspension news ahead of their La Liga clash with Valencia.
Sports Mole

Barcelona will be aiming to get their La Liga title challenge back on track when they host Valencia on Sunday night.

The Catalan outfit have only been victorious in one of their last eight matches in Spain's top flight, which has seen them drop down into third spot in the La Liga table, seven points behind the leaders Real Madrid.

Barcelona are through to the knockout round of the Champions League with a match to spare, though, having recorded a 5-4 victory over Benfica in Portugal on Tuesday evening.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Valencia, who are currently down in 19th spot in the table, only picking up 16 points from their 20 matches this term.

Dani Olmo

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: January 26 (vs. Valencia)

Olmo was unable for selection against Benfica in the Champions League due to a muscular problem, but there is a slight chance that the Spain international could be back in the fold for the clash with Valencia.

Marc Bernal

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Bernal suffered an ACL injury against Rayo Vallecano in the league earlier this term, and he is out for the season, with the youngster working to be ready for pre-season ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Barcelona will be missing their number one goalkeeper Ter Stegen for the remainder of the season due to the serious knee injury that he suffered in the clash with Villarreal on September 22.

Inigo Martinez

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Martinez suffered a hamstring problem during the Spanish Super Cup final against Real Madrid, and the centre-back is expected to be on the sidelines for the next three to four weeks recovering from the issue.

BARCELONA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Barcelona have no players suspended for the La Liga fixture.
