Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has admitted that his team "are in a little slump".
The Catalan outfit have lost their last two in La Liga to blow the title race wide open and were also dumped out in the quarter-finals of the Champions League by Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night.
Pique has conceded that the European exit was "a very hard blow", but is confident that his team will recover to lift the Spanish title and the Copa del Rey crown this season.
"We are in a little slump. You're not always at your best. Things go better or are worse. The team was hungry to score but the ball would not go in. This is football. We believe that we are very good, but not always at our best," Pique told AS.
"I will not deny that it has been a very hard blow that we did not expect. We have to get up. We play the league and cup and they are two very nice competitions we expect to win."
Barcelona will attempt to return to winning ways in the league when they welcome Valencia this weekend.
