Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has backed Neymar to be a success at the club.

The Brazilian star signed from Santos in the summer and Pique feels that once he has settled, the forward has the ability to dazzle at Camp Nou.

"Neymar can give us a lot, he can score goals, make assists, head the ball, cross and he can do whatever we ask him to," Pique told Sky Sports News.

"He is a really good player who has the skills that we need and we can win titles with him in the side. He is trying to adapt, he is Brazilian and he has come from far away. He is a shy lad but it is normal in your first month [to be like that].

"He is a top player with a lot of quality and he will have some good years at Barcelona."

Barca are currently second in La Liga, but have won all four of their games in the division so far this season.
