The agent of Yerry Mina has said that the Barcelona defender has not agreed a deal to sign for Everton.

Mina only arrived at Camp Nou in January but despite showcasing his ability for Colombia at the World Cup, it has been suggested that the player could leave the Catalan giants due to the number of non-European players in their squad.

Everton have been strongly linked with a move for the 23-year-old, but agent and uncle Jair Mina has claimed that discussions are still to be held with Barcelona.

Jair is quoted by Mundo Deportivo as saying: "It is not true that Yerry has signed for Everton.

"Yerry has many teams who hold an interest in him but before we can think about that, we need to know what Barcelona plan to do. When we hear from the club, we will make a decision."

Mina made six appearances for Barca during the second half of last season.
