Ajax have confirmed the capture of Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana from Barcelona.
The two clubs had already agreed a deal earlier in the season, which would see the stopper move to Amsterdam at the end of the 2014-15 campaign.
However, the deal has been brought forward to this month, with the 18-year-old now heading for the Dutch champions.
"I am very glad I have made the move to Ajax. There were quite a few clubs interested but I honestly did not have to think about it," the stopper told Ajax's official website.
"When Ajax showed interest it was immediately clear to me that I wanted to go to this club. The philosophy really speaks to me and I like it that they have confidence in young players."
Onana, who never appeared for Barca's senior side, has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Ajax.
