Spanish full-back Jordi Alba has expressed his delight at completing his return to Barcelona.
The 23-year-old, who represented Spain at Euro 2012, left the Nou Camp in 2005 to join the Valencia academy.
However, having made 108 appearances for Los Ches, Barca have opted to part with a reported £10m to take the defender back to Catalonia.
"It's been an incredible month for me and now I have to take advantage of the opportunity that Barcelona have given me," he told the club's official website.
"I'm excited that I'll be playing for the best team in the world, with the best players and the best fans. It's a big challenge for me but I'll try to do my best.
"I was only 15 when I left Barcelona to do my own thing. Luckily, after some years, they have signed me again. The club has given me a chance and I'm very pleased."
Alba has agreed a five-year contract with Barca.
