Barcelona have reportedly decided to pay a fee in order to re-sign Marc Cucurella from Eibar during the summer transfer window.
The Catalan giants have allowed Cucurella to spend a season on loan at their fellow top-flight side, and Eibar have the option to push through a permanent deal at the end of the campaign.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona will look to double the €2m (£1.72m) that they are due to receive in order to keep the 20-year-old at Camp Nou.
The left-sided player has featured on 28 occasions in La Liga this season, and Ernesto Valverde may decide to use the prospect as backup to Jordi Alba.
AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have each been linked with an approach for Cucurella.
