Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Boca Juniors defender Ramos Mingo.
The 17-year-old was involved in Boca's pre-season tour ahead of the current campaign but has not yet made his professional debut for the club due to a contract stand-off.
According to AS, the Argentine outfit have placed a professional deal on the table for the centre-back, although it remains unsigned as the youngster considers his future.
The report claims that Barca's head of youth development Jose Maria Bakero has been in contact with Mingo's agent with a view to signing him before he pens a professional deal at La Bombonera.
The Spanish champions are also allegedly battling Real Madrid for the signature of San Lorenzo midfielder Matias Palacios.
Barca will be attempting to make it eight straight wins in all competitions when they travel to Levante in Spain's top flight on Saturday afternoon.
