Barcelona's vice-president Carles Vilarrubi has insisted that the club are confident of finding a replacement for goalkeeper Victor Valdes.
The Spanish international revealed yesterday evening that he would not be extending his current contract at the Camp Nou.
"There's no need to give this too much attention. We have sufficient resources to find a good replacement," Vilarrubi told TV3.
"We now have a job on our hands and our task is to find a new goalkeeper. I have the feeling that Valdes is pretty certain about his decision. He wants to leave and we have to respect his wish."
Manchester United's David de Gea and Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois have both been touted as possible replacements for Valdes.
