Barcelona supporters vote for Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic to leave the club, but also urge Ousmane Dembele to stay amid links to Bayern Munich.

Barcelona's 2018-19 season slumped from a potentially historic campaign to one of disappointment last month as they saw two legs of a possible treble slip out of their grasp.

Defeat in the final of the Copa del Rey ended their four-year domination of the tournament, but it was their Champions League collapse against Liverpool which really hurt as their dreams of once again being crowned kings of Europe were dashed in remarkable fashion at Anfield.

Even an eighth La Liga title in 11 seasons was not enough to make up for the overall feeling of underachievement at the Camp Nou, to the point where the future of manager Ernesto Valverde was questioned.

It has since been confirmed that Valverde will stay with the Spanish giants, but there have also been calls for an overhaul of his squad this summer - particularly with bitter rivals Real Madrid making waves in the transfer market already.

Earlier this week Sports Mole ran a poll asking which members of the current squad Barcelona should keep or ditch during the transfer window, and supporters were keen to see a couple of big names leave Camp Nou.

Philippe Coutinho's future has arguably been the subject of most debate courtesy of some underwhelming form since his mega-money move from Liverpool, with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain among the clubs to have been linked with the Brazilian.

Interestingly, 56% of Barcelona fans believe that the playmaker should leave this summer, while an even higher percentage want Ivan Rakitic to depart (57%).

Ousmane Dembele is another player to have been linked with the exit door, but Barca supporters are in no doubt that they want the Frenchman to stay at Camp Nou, with 75% voting to keep him.

Indeed, the poll revealed that fans are happy with the majority of the current Barcelona squad, with only five others players earning a 'Ditch' rating, two of whom have left the club since the poll began.

Of those still with the Spanish giants, Denis Suarez was the least popular with 88% of fans wanting him out, while Rafinha (85%) was not far behind either. Somewhat surprisingly, Malcom was also voted to leave by 52% of supporters.

Less surprising was the fact that a whopping 96% of fans want to keep Lionel Messi at the club, but even the Argentine maestro had to play second fiddle to Marc-Andre ter Stegen in this poll, with 98% voting for the German shot-stopper to stay.
