Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement with Lautaro Martinez over a contract and must now attempt to settle on a transfer fee with Inter Milan.
The 22-year-old has allegedly been identified by the Spanish champions as the perfect long-term replacement for Luis Suarez, who appears to be entering the latter stages of his career at Camp Nou.
According to Tuttosport, Barca have reached an agreement in principle for the Argentina international.
The report claims that the Catalan giants must now attempt to negotiate a fee with Inter, who are also aware of interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City.
Martinez has been in impressive form for Antonio Conte's side during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring 16 times in 31 appearances in all competitions.
The striker - contacted to the Milan giants until the summer of 2023 - is thought to have a release clause in the region of £94m, which Barca could ultimately be forced to meet if they wish to complete a summer deal.
