Barcelona will reportedly move for a midfielder and striker when the January transfer window opens.
The Catalan outfit are under a transfer embargo until early 2016, but still managed to complete deals for Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan this summer, although neither can feature until January.
Barca were expected to replace Pedro, who joined Chelsea, this summer, but according to AS, January will see two new players arrive at Camp Nou.
As it stands, the Catalan outfit only have youngsters Munir El Haddadi and Sandro Ramirez as back-ups to their usual front three.
Xavi, meanwhile, who departed in the summer, has not yet been directly replaced by a central midfielder.
