Barcelona have reportedly arranged to re-open contract negotiations with winger Ousmane Dembele.
The 24-year-old will see his current deal at Camp Nou expire in June and he is now free to sign pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs.
Barca president Joan Laporta revealed earlier this week that there had been no change to Dembele's situation, with the player yet to make a decision on his future.
However, Marca reports that the Catalan giants have now decided to make contact with Dembele's agent, and 'in the coming days' they are set to re-open contract negotiations.
A report from Sport, via Marca, adds that Barca decided to make the first move by contacting the player's representatives, who are believed to be willing to listen to the Catalan club's latest offer.
Since the appointment of Xavi is November, Dembele – who has recently been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain – has made 20 appearances for Barcelona across all competitions this season, scoring twice and registering nine assists. body check tags ::
