Barcelona are reportedly preparing an improved bid for Roma defender Marquinhos.
The 19-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the brightest centre-backs in world football, was reportedly the subject of a £17m offer from the Catalan outfit earlier this summer.
Roma have thus far repelled interest in the teenager whom they signed from Corinthians in July 2012, but according to Goal.com, Barcelona will return with an improved offer for the Brazilian.
It has been reported that Roma value Marquinhos in the region of £25m.
