Barcelona are reportedly considering sending midfielder Carlos Alena on loan to Getafe for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old has made just one appearance for Ernesto Valverde's side this season and that came back in August.
AS reports that Getafe made an offer to loan Alena for six months - a proposal Barcelona were happy with as they believed it would be a good way for the player to develop and get experience at the top level.
However, it appears that Alena, who initially joined Barca at the age of seven, is not as keen and that his response will depend on Getafe's progress in the Europa League.
The Madrid club need at least a draw with Krasnodar in their final group game next week to book a spot in the last 32.
Should Getafe's move for Alena fail, they are also believed to be eyeing up a short-term move for Real Madrid's Brahim Diaz.
