Barcelona have reportedly identified Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico as a possible replacement for Junior Firpo ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
The Spanish champions signed Firpo as back-up to Jordi Alba last summer, but the 23-year-old has struggled to make his mark at Camp Nou and is already being linked with an exit.
Chelsea have recently been credited with an interest in Tagliafico amid suggestions that Ajax could be prepared to sanction a move during this summer's transfer window.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barca are also in the hunt for the Argentina international, who has contributed five goals and seven assists in 38 appearances at club level this term.
The report claims that Ajax are under no pressure to sell the left-back but would consider offers in the region of €35m (£30.4m) as his contract in Amsterdam expires in June 2022.
Barca are also allegedly interested in a summer deal for Lazio's Luiz Felipe.
