Bayern Munich and Juventus are reportedly preparing to go head to head for the signature of Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho during this summer's transfer window.
Coutinho has been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League this summer, with Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Arsenal all credited with an interest in recent days.
The Brazil international is unlikely to complete a switch back to England, however, as the transfer market only has a matter of hours left to run.
According to Sport, Coutinho is still likely to leave Barca this summer even so, with both Bayern and Juve in the hunt for the 27-year-old's signature.
Serie A clubs have until August 18 to make new signings, while Bayern would, in theory, be able to wait until the start of September before bringing the South American to the Allianz Arena.
Coutinho, who has a contract at Camp Nou until June 2023, struck just five La Liga goals for the Spanish champions during the 2018-19 campaign.
