Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has ruled out a potential exit for striker Robert Lewandowski this summer, amid links with a move to Barcelona.
The 33-year-old's contract at the Allianz Arena expires in June 2023, and reports in recent days have suggested that the striker does not wish to extend his stay in Bavaria.
In addition, Lewandowski has also reportedly informed the club that he wishes to move to Barcelona at the end of the season, amid rumours of serious interest from the Catalan side.
However, Bayern's president has insisted that the Polish international will see out the remainder of his contract at the club.
Speaking to Sports Buzzer, Hainer said: "Robert Lewandowski has a contract with FC Bayern until June 30, 2023. And he will fulfill it."
Following his free transfer move from fellow Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund in 2014, Lewandowski has scored 343 goals in all competitions for Bayern, including 49 in 45 appearances so far this season. body check tags ::
