Bayern Munich are reportedly looking to extend the loan deal of Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho by a further two months.
With Coutinho having recently spent a period on the sidelines due to ankle surgery, it appeared likely that the Brazilian would return to Camp Nou at the end of June.
However, with Barcelona seemingly struggling to find a suitable buyer for the 28-year-old, it appears that Bayern are keen to take full advantage.
According to Sky Deutschland, the Bundesliga champions want to keep Coutinho at the Allianz Arena until the end of August.
Should they be successful with their request, the player would be able to feature during the latter stages of the Champions League, set to be held in Lisbon.
Coutinho may feature in Bayern's remaining two league matches after recently returning to training.
