Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has played down suggestions that he could depart Real Sociedad.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a move to Barcelona, but the stopper, who joined Sociedad from Colo-Colo in 2006, has hinted that he wants to end his career at San Sebastian.
"I've been lucky. The first person who told me to go to San Sebastian in the Basque Country, was Ongi Etorri. They mean 'Welcome' but not in the formal way, not like something you would read on a poster at the airport, but what they mean to say is "Welcome, we want you to be one of us," he told El Mercurio.
"I said I was luck and it's true. Because I came to a place where they have absolute respect for your profession, where they support you in the streets and where they celebrate your strengths and work effort and that makes you want to give back to the community with all your commitment and dedication to the team that represents them. And you feel like one of them and you adapt.
"As of today, I've been in Europe for almost eight years and I have a contract with La Real until 2017. And if everything goes well, because I couldn't ask for more, I'll be the Chilean with the most years spent at one European club."
Bravo has won 76 caps for his country and will enter the World Cup next summer their first-choice goalkeeper.
