Sergio Busquets will commit his future to Barcelona by putting pen to paper on a new-and-improved contract, according to a report.
The 30-year-old, who still has three years to run on his existing deal, has been in talks with the club over extending his current terms.
ESPN claims that Busquets's latest contract extension will be announced imminently, taking his release clause up to a staggering £447m.
Busquets's new deal will supposedly place him in a category behind Lionel Messi in terms of the club's highest earners, while his buy-out clause is on a par with that of Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele.
A product of Barca's famed La Masia setup, Busquets has spent his entire career in Catalonia and is closing in on 500 appearances for the Spanish champions.
