Borussia Dortmund have reportedly identified Barcelona prodigy Ansu Fati as their number one target to replace Jadon Sancho.
Dortmund are understood to have told Sancho that he is free to leave the club this summer as long as his asking price of more than £100m is met by one of his numerous interested parties.
The Bundesliga side have duly been on the lookout for the next young talent who could follow a similar trajectory, both in terms of talent on the field and value off it, in order to replace Sancho.
Spanish outlet SPORT reports that their top target is Fati, who has begun to establish himself in the Barcelona first-team setup this season with five goals in 24 appearances.
The 17-year-old has already broken a number of records in the meantime, becoming the club's youngest ever goalscorer, the youngest player to both score and assist in a La Liga game, the youngest Champions League scorer and the youngest player to score a La Liga brace.
The report does not state how much Barcelona would want if they were to sell Fati, but the Catalan giants would demand a buy-back clause in any deal.
