Barcelona winger Cristian Tello has joined Fiorentina on a six-month loan deal.
The 24-year-old had spent the last season and a half with Porto on a temporary agreement.
However, having recently ended his time in Portugal, Tello has now been granted permission to continue his career in Serie A.
"ACF Fiorentina announce that they have acquired the sporting rights on a temporary basis, with options on both sides to make the move permanent or terminate it, of the player Cristian Tello Herrera from FC Barcelona until June 30, 2016," read a statement on the club's official website.
Tello, who has been capped by Spain at senior international level once, added on Twitter: "Thank you Fiorentina for the trust and for giving me the opportunity to play in the most beautiful city in Italy. I will not disappoint you."
The attacker has scored 20 goals from his 86 outings in a Barca shirt.
