Antoine Griezmann's lawyer has reportedly instructed Atletico Madrid that the Barcelona-linked striker will not be reporting back for pre-season training.
The France international was expected to secure a move to Camp Nou at the start of the month once his release clause dropped to the £100m mark.
However, an agreement has yet to be reached between the three parties involved and Atletico issued a statement on Saturday stating that Griezmann must report to the club's Cerro del Espino training complex today.
According to Spanish outlet Marca, though, the 28-year-old has told Atleti via his lawyer that he will not be returning.
Griezmann, who scored a further 15 La Liga goals last season, is said to be hopeful that a move to Barcelona can soon be finalised.
