Inter Milan are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie.
The Ivory Coast international scored 37 goals and provided 16 assists in 223 appearances for Inter's rivals AC Milan before he joined Barcelona on a free transfer in the summer.
Kessie has struggled to nail down a place in Xavi's side, starting five of Barcelona's 17 games in all competitions this season.
With playing time appearing to be at a premium, Calcio Mercato claims that Inter have been long-term admirers of Kessie, and they are now considering a move.
The 25-year-old is currently under contract until June 2026, and he is believed to be keen to see out the season with Barcelona, where he hopes he can earn a regular starting place.
While Kessie seems intent to remain with the Catalan giants, Inter have no plans to give up their pursuit, with a loan deal said to be a potential option. body check tags ::
