Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti has acknowledged that he does not want Lautaro Martinez to leave San Siro this summer.
The 21-year-old contributed six goals and two assists in Serie A last season, which has allegedly resulted in interest from Barcelona.
The Catalan giants are said to be prepared to bid £100m for the Argentina international, although Zanetti says that no offers have been made for his compatriot.
Zanetti told No Toda Pasa: "No offers from Barcelona came for Lautaro Martínez. I hope he stays with us for a long time because he is an important player and he makes me very happy.
"What he did with us in his first season was very good."
Martinez, whose contract runs until 2023, has netted twice in four appearances for Argentina at the Copa America.
