Lionel Messi's father Jorge Messi and his lawyers are reportedly still looking over the finer details of Paris Saint-Germain's contract offer despite suggestions that the Argentine was due to fly to Paris on Sunday night.
PSG are believed to have offered the former Barcelona attacker the chance to sign an initial two-year deal in Paris, and it had been claimed that Messi would fly to Paris before the end of the weekend to finalise the deal.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Messi's team are not currently en route to the French capital, as the finer details of the proposed agreement are still being analysed.
Romano claims that the South American, who said goodbye to Barcelona during a press conference on Sunday morning, will fly to Paris 'once every contract detail' has been agreed.
A recent report claimed that Barcelona were attempting to block Messi's move to Mauricio Pochettino's side by claiming that Financial Fair Play should make it impossible for the club to complete a move.
However, PSG are seemingly now close to announcing the signing of the 34-year-old, who scored four times and registered five assists in seven appearances for Argentina at this summer's Copa America. body check tags ::
