Former Barcelona midfielder Cristian Lobato has revealed his delight after penning a short-term contract with Osasuna.
The 24-year-old had been without a club since departing Barcelona in the summer, where he represented their B side, but has now signed with Osasuna for the remainder of the season.
A serious knee injury has kept him out of action since February, but the Spaniard has claimed that he is almost back to full fitness.
"I feel really good. I know I've been out for a while, but the knee has responded very well. I'm looking forward to playing again soon," he told reporters at his official unveiling.
"There's a great group of lads here. For me to be at Osasuna and with these fans, is an honour. Osasuna is a family and it's great to be here. I feel comfortable playing centrally or on the wing. I think I'm a player with quality, fast and with good creative vision."
Lobato started his professional career with Hospitalet, before moving to Barcelona in 2011.
