Nicolas Lodeiro has claimed that Barcelona forward Luis Suarez is keen to secure a transfer to the MLS.
With Barcelona said to be in the market for a long-term replacement for the Uruguay international, newly-formed Inter Miami have been linked with an approach for his signature
Suarez's compatriot Lodeiro has backed up suggestions that the frontman wants to make the switch to the United States, claiming that the 32-year-old is waiting to agree an exit with his current club.
The Seattle Sounders midfielder told MLSSoccer.com: "I think you need to convince Barcelona. He wants to come to MLS.
"He is always asking me about the league. His dream was to play for Barcelona. He's playing at a great level and he feels comfortable there."
Suarez has a contract with the La Liga champions until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
