Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has insisted that Memphis Depay will not be sold for a cut-price fee in January.
With less than a year remaining on his contract, Depay seemed on the verge of joining Barcelona during the summer window until the Catalan giants scrapped their offer.
Although it appeared likely that Lyon would be willing to cash in on the Netherlands international at the beginning of 2021, Aulas has hinted that the attacker will remain at the Groupama Stadium.
Speaking to Radio Monte Carlo, Aulas said: "I'm sure that Depay will stay in the team because we have to succeed this season, and we need to keep all our resources."
Depay, who has contributed five goals and three assists from his 10 appearances this season, has also been linked with Juventus and Roma.
