Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has said that talks with Barcelona winger Adama Traore are "ongoing".
Hughes confirmed reports that he met Traore earlier this week but said that any deal for the Spanish under-19 international is far from complete.
He told reporters: "We've had discussions, yes. They are on-going, but as with most players there's other teams with an interest, so there's no progress on that yet.
"In the end we have to wait for the people involved to make a decision."
Traore made his debut in La Liga in 2013 aged just 17, coming on as a late substitute against Granada. The 19-year-old has spent the past two seasons with Barcelona B, scoring eight goals in 63 appearances.
