Lionel Messi reportedly has no plans of trying to leave Paris Saint-Germain for a return to Barcelona.

The 34-year-old has endured an indifferent opening period at Parc des Princes, contributing just six goals and four assists from his 16 appearances in all competitions.

In recent days, it has been suggested that Messi's family is craving a return to Barcelona having failed to settle to life in Paris.

However, according to The Sun, the legendary Argentine is not considering a sensational reunion with a club that he departed in the summer.

As it stands, Messi currently intends to see out the remainder of his two-year deal, which expires at the end of 2023-24.

The forward is expected to return to action later this month after recently testing positive for coronavirus. body check tags ::
