Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is pestering ex-teammate Neymar over a return to Camp Nou this summer, according to a report.

Lionel Messi is reportedly in regular contact with Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar over a possible return to Barcelona.

Neymar spent four seasons playing alongside Messi at Camp Nou, winning 10 trophies during an illustrious period for the Catalan giants.

The Brazil international left for PSG in a record £198m transfer four years ago, but he is into the final 14 months of his Parc des Princes contract.

Neymar stated earlier this season that he would like to reunite with Messi again and, according to L'Equipe, that could happen if the latter gets his way.

It is claimed that the six-time Ballon d'Or winner is pestering his ex-teammate on a regular basis in the hope that he forces through a move to Barca.

The rumours come amid a revelation by former Barca scout Andre Cury that the club were just £17m short of signing Neymar in 2019. body check tags ::
