Lionel Messi is reportedly yet to decide whether he will remain at Barcelona for the 2021-22 campaign.

The club legend, whose contract at Camp Nou expires at the end of the month, is already free to hold discussions with other clubs.

However, it has been suggested in recent weeks that the 34-year-old is happy to remain with the Catalan giants for the next two seasons.

According to Marca, Messi's entourage have dismissed claims that the Argentine has already committed his immediate future to the La Liga outfit.

At a time when Barcelona are having to manage their finances, the report says that the forward is yet to receive an official contract offer.

Despite persistent speculation, president Joan Laporta has often spoken positively when questioned over Messi's future. body check tags ::
