Miralem Pjanic could seal an agreement over a Barcelona exit this weekend, according to a report.
The 31-year-old arrived at Camp Nou last summer from Juventus as Arthur went in the opposite direction, but he endured a nightmare first season under Ronald Koeman's tutelage.
Pjanic featured 30 times in all competitions for La Blaugrana but started a mere six La Liga games in the 2020-21 campaign, and he is expected to end his ill-fated stint at Barca this summer.
A return to Juventus has been mooted with Massimiliano Allegri back in charge, and Marca claims that a deal could be reached over an initial loan exit by the end of the weekend.
Barca and Juventus are set for battle in Sunday's Joan Gamper Trophy clash, and the report adds that directors from both clubs are now expected to accelerate negotiations in person, while Allegri has also urged the Old Lady to re-sign Pjanic.
The Bosnia-Herzegovina international previously spent four years at Juventus between 2016 and 2020, scoring 22 goals and registering 41 assists in 178 matches, as well as winning four successive Scudettos. body check tags ::
